About GenealogyPays.com

Thank you for visiting and for your interest in GenealogyPays.com

Our Team
GenealogyPays.com is the creation of Dan Lynch, a marketing professional and long-time family history enthusiast. For the last decade, Lynch has worked for and consulted with dozens of organizations serving the worldwide market for genealogy products and services. His direct experience with leading companies in this field includes Ancestry.com, MyFamily.com, Genealogy.com, AncestorsOnBoard.com (part of FindMyPast.com — formerly 1837online.com), The Statue of Liberty-Ellis Island Foundation, the A&E Television Network, and a number of smaller commercial organizations and nonprofit societies.

One common theme that has continued to surface in discussions with genealogy organizations, both large and small, is their inability to find a targeted and cost-effective online service for the promotion of their products, services, and events.

The Solution
By combining his unique understanding of the genealogy market with proven techniques in traditional and online marketing, Lynch has developed genealogypays.com as a means to bring merchants and consumers together. In the physical world, merchants rent floor space at trade shows knowing that the floor traffic will help them attract new customers. The Puzzle Grid services a similar function in the virtual world, but lasts an entire year and doesn't involve the extra costs associated with show participation. Consumers are drawn to the site by the collection of merchants and the prize promotion; merchants are drawn to the site by the volume and quality of visitors. Both parties benefit through the participation of the other.

Supporting Local Societies
This exciting approach also recognizes the important role that local organizations continue to play in this age of the Internet. The prize payout includes a component whereby a local society can receive as much as $15,000. By providing funding for local societies, GenealogyPays.com hopes to enhance the ability of these organizations to share their unique holdings with a worldwide audience.

We're a small team, but hope you enjoy our site. If you have ideas for how we can make our service even better, please contact us to share your thoughts.
